WHAT IS CBD?

Cannabidiol

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a compound found in marijuana.

CBD can be derived from hemp or from non-hemp plants. Hemp is defined as any part of the cannabis sativa plant with no more than 0.3% of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the mind-altering substance in marijuana.

CBD has been shown to aid in reducing levels of pain, meaning that you can push longer during and after training. CBD has also been shown to aid in reducing levels of inflammation which is associated with muscle damage.

CBD and THC

As the legal use of hemp and other cannabis products grows, consumers are becoming more curious about their options. This includes cannabidiol (CBD) and tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), two natural compounds found in plants of the cannabis genus.

Both compounds interact with your body’s endocannabinoid system, but they have very different effects.
